"Ho, ho, ho!"
Sam looked up from his laptop to see a vision in red and white, curling, bushy beard and eyebrows that looked as if they could take flight and zoom off to warmer climes. Dean, who had been in the kitchen fixing a snack for them before bedtime, stuck his head around the door and did a double take.
"I don't believe this," said Sam.
"I'm here to find out if you've been naughty or nice," announced the new arrival.
"Okay," said Sam. "I'll play. I've been really nice."
Dean had come into the room at this point, agreed. "Me too. The nicest!"
"Oh, come on! You must've been a bit naughty." Santa's words were unexpected, and frowning, Sam reached to tug on his beard.
"I knew it! Crowley," he exclaimed.
"Hello, boys." Crowley deposited a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue on the table. "Merry Christmas." and was gone.
