Summary: Bobby's been bitten by the gardening bug. Sam and Dean suspect it's given him rabies.
"Wow, something smells good," said Dean, practically salivating.
"Tuck in, boys," Bobby ordered, laying out dinner. "I've been trying this self-sufficiency thing, so all the fruit and veggies are homegrown and one hundred percent organic," he added.
Sam nodded his approval at both that and the food. "This chili is delicious."
"Ah, that'll be the vampire tomatoes," explained Bobby.
"Vampire... tomatoes?" deadpanned Dean, catching Sam's eye and making twirling motions beside his temple.
"I mean, grown over where I buried a vampire, you idjit," Bobby snorted, slapping at Dean's hand. "Only trouble is, they sucked the life out of the weird plants growing in the next plot."
"Why, what were they?" asked Dean, firmly putting down his fork with a green expression.
"That was shifter fertilizer," explained Bobby as if it was the most natural thing in the world. "They started as beets but I never did figure out what they were turning into."
"And the pie?" Dean asked, casting a mournful glance at the pastry taking pride of place in the center of the table.
"Werewolf apples!" Bobby chuckled. "I buried a whole pack under those trees. Say, we should test if they taste different on a full moon!"
