We've already given you a heads-up on our monthly contests for fic, icons, and comm cheerleading -- and it's time to give a nod to the talented artists who have been contributing larger graphics for everyone to enjoy!
As with the other categories, at the end of each month, we'll gather together the graphics that have been posted during that month, and ask the members to vote for their favorites. (This wouldn't count for recs, or posts of graphics created by others, just for art posted directly by the artist, so that all the contestants are members of our little family.) The winner will receive a banner to post on their Profile page, and 500 LJ tokens.
At the end of the year, we'll collect all the monthly winners, hold another vote, and the big winner will receive LJ's biggest token package, 3000 tokens (worth $25), and another banner.
For the shy folks who haven't yet posted your art: give it a whirl! You might just have the piece that will win your fellow members' hearts!
