Hey, at least she was getting an evening out of the house, and she was bringing some great wine and fancy chocolates, so there was always that.
Donna shooed her toward the couch as she went to open the wine, and Jody was surprised by the movies on the coffee table: “Die Hard” and “Gremlins.”
“Christmas classics, huh?”
“Well, yeah!” Donna grinned. “They both take place at Christmas, don’t they?”
“I guess they do! Which first?”
