Story Summary: 1940s prison AU. A WWII veteran known as Dean Winchester is locked away for a horrific crime. Extreme physical and emotional suffering beset him in prison and only his fellow inmates, Gabriel and Castiel, can comfort him. The mysterious Castiel, in particular, becomes important to Dean.
Chapter Summary: Dean's obssession with escaping prison intensifies. The prison staff begins to behave unusually.
