A/N: The author has taken a few liberties with a town name which originated in a movie shot back in the seventies as well as hints to a well known “monster” (or at least it’s ghost). And so, I would like to thank Steven Spielberg for those small tid-bits. Also thanks goes out to M. Night Shyamalan for bits and pieces of a legend that he mentions in one of his movies.
Summary: When a teenage Dean and Sam take off on an oceanic hunt, only Sam returns. For nearly seven years Sam believes his brother to be dead, killed by the spirit they had hunted that fateful night. When Bobby tells Sam how people are once again disappearing off boats in that same area, Sam jumps at the chance for retribution. What he finds instead is better than any revenge he could ever have imagined; finally after feeling as though his heart had been shattered for so long, he finds himself whole again.
