State: Minnesota! And, by the way, if anyone was affected in that terrible bridge thing today, I send out my sincerest condolences and regrets. I wasn't there but I can't imagine what it might have been like if I was. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's some info.

The story behind it: the covered bridge at the University of Minnesota has many suicides to its name- whether it be a brilliant, drunken poet throwing himself onto the ice to a tortured student unable to take it anymore. Many of the bodies are washed up onshore, and some of them were never found. Legends say that the ghosts of some of these spirits wander the lakeshore, pulling others to a watery death...
Dean and Sam parked on River Road and hiked down to investigate. The bridge behind them is the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis.
ETA: also, a bigger version at my journal that is much nicer because you can actually SEE their faces :)
