Summary: It's Sam's first encounter with that white fluffy things that falls down from the sky.
Dean had sitting watching the snow fall and waiting for his little brother to wake up. Sammy was such a sleepy head, though he should be happy for that according to their father. Now he just wanted his little brother to wake up so they could get out in the snow when they eaten breakfast.
Last time there had been snow Sammy had been to small to really know what it was, and he had barley been walking then. Now he would be able to toddle about. Dean so waited for seeing Sammy's reaction to it and what fun he could do in the snow.
Hearing Sammy finally wake up, Dean was quick to help Sammy get dressed and then eat. Then finally they could get out in the new snow. The ground had been covered in a few inches through the night and it still was falling down in a medium size snowflakes.
Sammy had big eyes when Dean opened the door, though outside he blinked a lot from the bright light. He had looked hesitance to get out, but his curiosity quickly made him to follow Dean.
Dean smiled. He loved to see how Sammy looked so astonished by the snow, wondering how it come that the snowflakes seemed to melt as they touched his bare hands. How Sammy started to try to chase the flakes, fall and then role around in the snow.
Sammy smiled. That really carefree smile just a toddler has. The playful one. Dean collected some of the snow to a small ball and throw at Sammy. Sammy first got surprised and at the next he started laugh for soon trying to avoid to get hit.
Dean continue for them to play a long time until Sammy both was wet and started to look tired. It had been a great time for Dean to see Sammy's reaction and play in his first snow. The time would never come again.
