Warnings/Author Notes: Don't expect any of these to connect. I'm not actually doing NaNo, just trying to get back into writing before the holiday exchanges start, as the muse has been silent for a month.
There's nothing hesitant about it. It's soft and firm at the same time. A light brush at first, then more pressure, then a flick of tongue along the crease.
His lips part, drawing in breath, tasting mint from toothpaste and a hint of beer. The other lips twist across his, suck lightly on his lower lip, the teeth nip. He feels a palm cup his cheek, feels stubble rub his own, opens wider and drags in the flicking tongue.
The kiss deepens, lips sucking together, breaths shared. There's a slight clash of teeth, then they find the rhythm and just the right amount of pressure.
It seems to last forever, and when they finally part, both are panting slightly, faces flushed and eyes dark.
"Why?" Gabriel has to know.
The other's voice rumbles deep in his chest, full of emotion and hunger and fading pain. "You're not dead anymore."
