When Gabriel had decided to go on a candy heist, the last thing he'd ever thought he'd encounter was a ridiculous gigantor of a man in tights. The plan had been simple - wait until night, turn into a fly to get past any security that was in the way, then raid every candy joint in town - and he'd pretty much succeeded. Three stores were clear of products, and he had just enough time to do one more before going home.

The only problem was the man standing in front of him, with an expression more sour than any lemon he'd attempted to taste. Unable to stop himself from staring at the giant with bewilderment, Gabriel raised an eyebrow as he took in the guy's attire.

"Really?" he asked, not bothering to run for the moment, as he had done earlier when a cop had caught him exiting the first store.

The guy squirmed a touch, before his lips downturned into what Gabriel suspected was a frown. Watching with curiosity as he seemed to sag in defeat somewhat, Gabriel shook his head as he waited for... whatever the hell this idiot was going to do. He hoped it would be entertaining at least, since he was wasting Gabriel's precious candy-stealing time.

It took a moment or so of staring, but the man finally decided to take action, by removing the mask that was currently covering half his face. Pulling it up - reluctantly? - he let out a deep sigh as he tugged it off completely and dropped it to the floor.

Gabriel burst into a fit of laughter.

"S- Sam?" He had not been expecting that. Letting his head fall back as his guffaws continued on, Gabriel's amusement was only fueled when Sam's face flushed in anger and embarrassment.

"Shut up, Gabriel," Sam hissed, though the impact of the venom behind the instruction was rather stinted by the utterly ridiculous appearance. What the hell had possessed Sam to put the outfit on, let alone actually step outside in it?

"You done?"

Trying to calm himself down, Gabriel licked his lips and once again shook his head in disbelief. Face heated and probably red from all the laughing he'd done, Gabriel rubbed a hand over his mouth as he scrutinised his friend from head to toe. The top was actually fetching, if Gabriel were being honest - the tightness perfectly accentuated the muscles of his torso and arms, and Gabriel wasn't shy about openly appreciating a toned body. But that was where the sense of... style ended.

The tights were, yes, tight, but they really did not suit Sam's form, especially when coupled with what looked like a groin guard created in the shape of underpants. The shade of the items did nothing to hide the fact that he was dressed up so bizarrely - bright purple was not Sam's colour.

Taking glee as he noticed Sam fidgeting under his gaze, Gabriel lifted his head and locked his eyes with Sam's light ones.

"Halloween isn't for another four months, Sam," he said, keeping his tone as serious as he possibly could; it wasn't easy, faced with the image in front of him.

Sam visibly tensed. "Go to Hell."

Pouting far more dramatically than the situation called for, Gabriel had to force back the grin that wanted to rise in place when Sam scowled in anticipation. "Is that any way to treat your favourite superhero? Sidekicks are supposed to be nice."

Sam was very close to lashing out. With his hands clenched into fists, he seemed to be shaking just the tiniest of amounts. Gabriel mentally smirked.

Perfect.

"Last I heard," Sam started, "superheroes don't go around stealing things."

"I have to eat, Sammy."

"You earn enough to buy real food like a normal person!" Sam was maybe two seconds away from snapping completely; if he did lose it, he'd take it out on Gabriel. Not caring to try and calm his friend's mood down, Gabriel felt his features contort into a irritated glare; whether it was for show or not, Gabriel wasn't sure, because candy, regardless of how Sam saw it, was sacred. They'd had this argument before - Gabriel thought it was kind of low for Sam to bring it up, since he knew how Gabriel regarded the treats - but two could play at that game.

"Don't know if you've noticed, twinkle toes, but we aren't normal."

Having the ability to pin a person to a hard wall, without actually having to touch said person, was quite satisfying. The shimmer of power coursing through Sam as he focused on keeping Gabriel in place was warm and comfortable; it was one of the nicest aspects of his ability, though it wasn't enough to actively make him use his powers unless ouright provoked.

Gabriel had thoroughly gotten him pissed, and that had been the dick's motive all along. Sam knew it, and that made this whole situation just that little bit more infuriating. He was incapable of not letting Gabriel rile him up, no matter how much he tried to ignore him. Sam wasn't enitirely sure why Gabriel seemed able to push his buttons - and they were always the right buttons he managed to trigger, regardless of whether Sam was prepared for it - but he had a feeling that it had something to do with Gabriel's ability to be the most annoying man on Earth at any given moment.

What made it worse, though, was that Sam wanted Gabriel to cause this reaction in him. Rage was enduced by Gabriel being irritating, yet Sam always gained a sense of tingling joy in anticipation each and every time. What on Earth was wrong with him?

Taking a deep inhalation, before trying to even out his breathing to a more regular pattern, Sam had to fight the urge to wipe the smug smile from Gabriel's face. He'd lost control and sent a pulse of his power out, and Gabriel was grinning at him. If he were anyone else, Sam understood that he'd have turned his back on them to go home by now, but he couldn't do that when dealing with the insufferable shape-shifter.

The only thing Sam could take pleasure in was the fact that, when he was using the smallest amounts of his powers against his friend, Gabriel couldn't shift into anything but his natural human form. Though it was a small blessing, there wasn't much more Sam could take control over. If he, for one second, released his hold, then Gabriel would retaliate.

"I hope you're planning on doing a strip tease to make up for attacking me," Gabriel commented casually, waggling his eyebrows when Sam's lips moved into a thin line.

After a moment, Sam opened his mouth to reply; no sound came out, because whatever he wanted to say was drowned out by a sudden loud bang from behind him. Startled into letting Gabriel go, Sam twisted to look in the direction the sound had come from. Gaze instantly snapping to the large beam of light shooting up through the clouds, from a point on the ground not too far from his current location, Sam felt a sense of dread pour into him. That emotion was instantaneously replaced by frustration as he realised what - or who - had caused the... explosion?

"Dean."

Unsurprised to find that Gabriel had moved to stand beside him, Sam didn't deny that he could hear the slight amusement toucing Gabriel's voice. Dean was well known in the area; had been for a while now, considering he hadn't taken issue with making his appearance grand and attention-seeking. Kind of incompetent, Dean didn't strike a lot - if any - fear at all in people's minds. The guy, though ambitious and attempting to be villianous, wasn't exactly a threat.

Sam understood why the knowledge that Dean was acting up was funny. Heck, he almost certainly would be humored by the turn of events himself, if not for the fact that Dean was his brother. That just made him annoying, and Gabriel's amusement even more so.

"Thought he was cutting back on the whole evil thing since his virginal boyfriend came into the picture?"

Sighing, Sam turned to Gabriel with a glare. "Cas isn't his boyfriend." Lifting a hand up and slapping Gabriel on the back of his head, Sam moved his gaze back to the light and began walking towards it, whilst ignoring the protests coming from his friend.

"What was that for?"

Sam smiled sweetly. "I'm not, and never will be, your sidekick."

"Can't you turn into a horse or something?"

"It's barely two miles away! I'm sure your stilts won't have any troubles with you walking."

"But it'd be faster if you-"

"Admit it, Sam - you just want an excuse to ride me, don't you?"

This conversation had rapidly veered off in a direction Sam hadn't expected it to. Transforming from a civil argument concerning mode of transportation to Dean's location, it had quickly turned into something that he was, startlingly, becoming very accustomed to; that was, Gabriel making every comment appear lewd at the drop of a hat. It came naturally to the guy, almost as if the assumption that life was one giant sex party was true.

"My tights are rubbing me."

There went the remainder of his dignity. Cringing as he felt his face heat up immediately, Sam decided that it was probably in his best interests if he kept his mouth firmly shut. Attempting to keep his humiliation from utterly consuming him when Gabriel began openly laughing, Sam bit his lip. This whole situation was not going as he'd originally planned.

Having caught sight of a potential crime, he'd happily rushed over to the candy store with the intentions of getting the job done easily. Upon discovering that Gabriel was the actual perpetrator, Sam's initial idea of what he'd wanted to do had vanished, and instead he'd wanted to go home without coming into contact with his friend. That had not happened, since Gabriel had spotted him pretty much straight away, meaning that running off would have just caused Gabriel to pursue him.

Thinking back, Sam came to the conclusion that he should have tried running. At least then, though he would still be chasing after Dean, he'd likely be doing it alone.

"Why'd you put them on then, hm?" Gabriel asked between chuckles.

Gritting his teeth together, Sam threw a glare Gabriel's way. "I lost a bet with Crowley, okay?"

That only made Gabriel laugh harder, if that were even possible.

"Seriously, it's not that funny." Sam was getting angry, again. That was not a good sign - once in a night was enough. When Gabriel began calming down, Sam found himself sneering at the shorter man. Everything going wrong tonight wasn't Gabriel's fault - a lot of it was, but not all of it - but Gabriel was the only person around. Sam wanted to vent some frustration, remove some of the fury coursing through him, and he understood that Gabriel wouldn't mind being the target. That didn't mean he should use Gabriel in such a way.

It took about half a minute for Gabriel to settle down completely. Watching with a growing tension, curling and uncurling his fists, Sam narrowed his eyes. His lips were dry, his legs were uncomfortable - considering they weren't used to such confining clothing, that wasn't a surprise - and he was too hot, despite it being a rather cool night.

"Okay," Gabriel said, holding his hands out in a placating gesture, "say I turn into a horse and let you mount me, what's in it for me?"

Trying and failing to let his body react to the words Gabriel had deliberately chosen, he raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "Why should there be anything in it for you?"

"Since Dean is my so called nemesis, you tagging along is just that - tagging along. You want to come and climb all over this," Gabriel motioned towards himself rather provocatively, "then you owe me something in return."

Sam lifted his chin defiantly. "And what if I say no?"

"Then I'm out of here, and you're on your own."

Without warning, Gabriel's image phased and shifted from the familiar human shape that Sam was used to, into a small, brown bird. Flapping his newly acquired wings rapidly, Gabriel chirped happily - almost mockingly - then proceeded to begin an ascent.

Shocked, but quick to react, Sam sought out the heat within him and let it fire out harshly. Wrapping a force around Gabriel's petite body and encompassing it fully, Sam wasn't at all surprised when Gabriel's beak let out a startled whistle, before being replaced by a distinctly human yelp as he was forced back into his natural, physical self. Dropping to the cold ground with a soft thud, Gabriel gasped as his mind tried to catch up with what Sam had just done.

Hell, Sam's mind was trying to play catch up too. He'd never used his powers like this. Sure, making Gabriel refrain from transforming was something he did on a regular basis, but only when Gabriel was already human. This was different. Making Gabriel change from animal to human against his will was a line he'd never crossed, until now.

"Let me go."

The command brought Sam from his thoughts. Mouth parting slightly, he moved his gaze and locked his eyes with Gabriel's. What he saw there was unfamiliar. Gabriel wasn't one to be outrightly angry with Sam, but right now he looked positively livid.

More will hopefully be up tomorrow, though it might be Sunday when I next update, as I don't know if I'll have internet access.

Bwahahaha. Gabriel is just perfect in this, and yes, I can see him being furious with Sam stripping his powers from him, even for a short while (though I'm sure that Gabriel has no problems with Sam stripping in general, ifyouknowwhatImean). I'm really curious to know what got Dean into the villainy business.

:D Thank you. LOL, I agree, Gabriel wouldn't have a problem with other kinds of stripping at all XD

Sam didn't know what to do.

He knew that he should release his friend immediately, but some part of him didn't want to remove the absolute control he currently had. Though Gabriel was rapidly delving into imaginative curses and insults that Sam was sure would make a sailor blush, the pure rage emitting from Gabriel wasn't having the impact he probably desired.

Feeling his heart rate increase as he continued to watch Gabriel intensely, Sam tried to keep his expression neutral as Gabriel pushed forcibly against the hold on him. It was a strong effort, but Sam had the advantage; Gabriel would only be freed when Sam saw fit to let him go.

"Sam!"

Swallowing back any reply that wanted to escape when Gabriel yelled his name, Sam trailed his tongue along his chapped lips. Revelling in the moisture that settled over the dry flesh, he felt his eyebrows lower into a frown when a sense of foreboding tore through him.

He was not supposed to be doing this. There were more important happenings going on that needed his attention. Dean was causing trouble, and, regardless of what Gabriel claimed, Sam held responsibility for his brother. If he carried on with this little... thing he was doing - he honestly couldn't pin down what to call this, as he wasn't sure why he was refusing to let Gabriel go - then Dean might actually cause some damage. He could not allow that to happen.

Tensing his shoulders and limbs, evening his breathing out to try and remain calm, Sam prepared himself for a fight. Gabriel was undoubtedly going to pounce on him, with the intent to hurt, and there were any number of different creatures Gabriel could shift in to, to achieve his goal.

"Gabriel." Sam said the name quietly. Closing his mouth instantly, Gabriel's glare did not disappear, but it seemed he was interested in what Sam wanted to say.

"I'm going to let you go, and I don't want you to overreact."

What the hell was he talking about? Of course Gabriel was going to act out; Sam honestly wouldn't blame him, since Sam would do exactly the same if the roles were reversed. Although, thinking about it, even if Gabriel so much as punched him, there was always the option of bounding Gabriel once more. Sam's breath hitched. The thought of being able to pin Gabriel down, at any time, should not be causing a feeling of excitement, yet it was.

Not knowing whether that should concern him or not, Sam attempted to ignore the heat growing throughout his body. It was just a result of having control - something he enjoyed - and had nothing to do with who he was thinking of taking command of.

"Some time this century would be nice, Sammy-kins." The tone was bitterly sweet. Gabriel wasn't even trying to cover his irritation.

Sam closed his eyes. Gabriel knew that Sam was expecting him to attack, and Gabriel wasn't one to disappoint. Opening his eyes and taking in the angry figure on the floor, Sam felt dread pour into him.

Blowing out a small sigh, he allowed Gabriel his freedom.

I love that while Dean is off blowing things up, Sam is having a kink-related sexuality crisis with Gabriel a few streets over. This reminds me of all of the fun I had back in DC fandom :D

The carnage being created was rather spectacular, if Dean's opinion were to be believed. Glancing down at the gaping hole produced from the large demolition he'd partaken in only moments ago, Dean allowed his lips to rise in a smug grin. This was brilliant. Everything was going according to plan.

Letting out a quick puff of air through his mouth, he clicked his tongue as he moved his gaze up to look at the desolate street. Everyone had rapidly hurried from this location, and it would be just a matter of time before Gabriel showed up; probably with Sam in tow.

Dean frowned. When he thought about it, the two were running kind of late - Sam wasn't one to let explosions go unnoticed, and Gabriel was a stickler for getting to Dean as fast as possible when given such a blatant invitation.

Where the hell were they?

His lips drew into a thin line. What was the point of causing a huge display of destruction if those who it should have drawn to this place weren't going to turn up?

Sighing, scratching his head before running his fingers through his hair, Dean felt a little bit of disappointment rush through him. This was stupid. He shouldn't care whether his chosen arch-nemesis and his brother bothered to come. In fact, Gabriel and Sam not showing their faces should be good, and make him happy. There would be no one to stop his ideas from becoming reality - except maybe Cas, but he didn't count, because his disapproval was extremely passive - and that was magnificent.

He should be grateful. So why wasn't he?

Feeling his features contort into a frown, Dean turned to the bomb he'd set to go off. It wasn't large, and the resulting explosion wouldn't cover more than a few metres at most - Dean honestly didn't want to hurt anyone, unless it was Gabriel, and perhaps Sam - but it was still a big enough threat to gain attention. Heck, the light he'd made pulse from it, effectively giving its position away, had been done purposely.

"Fine." Dean scowled. "You don't want to show up, I'll bring it to you."

He was talking to himself, which was never the best sign. Given what he was about to do, Dean decided that it might be time to rethink this whole villainy thing, considering his heart apparently couldn't be in it if he had no opposition.

Seriously, what the hell was his problem? He'd need to ask Sam about it later, after he'd kicked his brother's ass for not caring to come and stop him.

Sorry it's taking so long to update - I am working on finishing it.

If it's okay with you, I'm going to finish it up and tweak a few things so it reads better, and post it as a whole story to my journal, then link to it here. If you'd rather I continue posting as I have been (each part as a separate comment), though, I will do :)

I love Gabriel essentially just pointing and laughing at Sam's getup, and Sam just taking it with shame until Gabriel calms down. I love it when supes riff on each other's outfits. I hope to see more of this, because this first part certainly brought the lulz, and got me super interested in their back stories and powers and how they know each other in normal, civilian life.

Hehe, well, I don't think it'd be possibly for Gabriel not to take the mick if Sam were to wear any sort of superhero get-up. You will definitely be seeing more - I'm hoping to get part 5 up by tomorrow :)
