My dad

This post is many months late.

I originally hadn't planned on going up to St Louis with my sister and Randal (her husband) for X-mas, since we were just there a couple months earlier, but then when I told her, she flipped out to my surprise. I apparently hadn't been told what was going on.

My dad developed a form of bladder cancer. It was caught very early and its %100 treatable, but not curable.

It developed on the lining of the bladder, and had not progressed to the inner tissues, where it starts getting ugly and less treatable.
To put it simply, this is the annoying cancer, not the kill-you cancer.

He has to go every couple months for a camera catheter. They look around, see if the cancer is growing back, and if so they zap it/cut it out. Thats the only way to deal with it, but its completely effective. He has to do this pretty much for the rest of his life, and he is far more likely to die of something totally different. Honestly, not really a huge hairy deal.

So that's why I went with them. She was acting like he was gonna die any day and that's why she flipped. She's such a girl.
