Stuff and Things
So, not much going on, what with the school hiatus and recent failed employment ventures. I waste some time on video games and crocheting (i have about four concurrent projects). Ryan is currently filling his time with projects for family members and spiffing up his spiffity work shed. He didn't realize how many tools he had until he put up some pegboard and tried to organize them. He reminds me a bit of the father in Amelie: removing all the items from his toolbox, organizing them, cleaning out the toolbox, and replacing each item.
Embarrassing story: I flooded the kitchen the other day. My intent was to clean the sink by filling it with bleachy water. Its a big sink, so I put the bleach in, turned on the tap and walked away. Like any self-respecting cartoon character would, I forgot about it and took what turned into a very cold shower. I emerged not very clean and a bit soapy to discover nearly a centimeter of water on the floor. Thank G-bus for wet/dry vacs. Minimal damage (with the exception of my self-respect, of course).
