NBC fosters illiteracy in "Surface"
ah, surface. the nbc weird living thing taking over world yada yada.. ok yeah, i've only seen it once.
but, in the single episode I saw, not only did they resurrect an archaeopteryx and show a furry ape child whimpering in a basement, but one of the main characters played by Lake Bell (yeah i don't know either), /actually/ uttered the words "selective seratonin reputake (repYOUtake) inhibitors". i love it when actors prove they can't read and directors don't notice because they can't read either. Hear that, NBC? Lake Bell is illiterate...oh yes, and her character is supposed to be a doctor of something.
it was almost as good as that numbers show when bernard the elf genius said 'furrier' analysis.
