SUPERFAST
So, I've gotten totally hooked on a livejournal community. It is catty and crazy and dumb and occasionally useful. It isn't that interesting to anybody but me (well, and everybody else in there), but it has to do with why I haven't posted a regular entry in awhile.
We got the tax refund today! :) (which means we are a little less in debt (:\) I got the red pair of these supersuede hi-top shoes (brandspankinnew!) at a garage sale with the money we had left over (ie: not much):
and they are super hot and dorky and i looooove them!! Ryan (killjoy) thinks they are dumb and says I will not wear them. He is so wrong. They are actually racecar driving shoes, so I'm thinking that makes me kinda like Sonic the Hedgehog.
Also, I have a new bike (new to me). It's a Trek Antelope 830, which Ryan and I fixed up together (and that doesn't mean that I stood there and handed him tools). Its great, a little clunky, but rideable. I have to get a new cable now for the back brake. It was leftover in a move. But the free stuff didn't end there, whoa no! A lady down the street kicked the bucket, and the contents of her house were given away. It was sad, but we did not know her, so we did not feel so very horrible about being vultures. Anyway, we got a sweet Coleman propane grill and an insulated keg (PARTYYYY, i mean..WAKE)!
Well, I should get away from the electrical devices as soon fair pdx will be enjoying its annual thunderstorm.
