weekend: done
my favoritest blacksmith visited thursday night and stayed over with me, he drove me up north and we almost made it in time for the rehearsal dinner friday night. (beware of google maps, they're not always entirely on target):/
but as of yesterday afternoon, my lil brother (32) is married! yay!
food was good, visits with relatives were endured, some even enjoyed a little.
but the evil instruments of torture his new wife "asked" us to wear on our feet for the wedding have done their damage. (5" stilts--I mean wedges, with -0- padding in the soles)
and once i was finally able to take them off, i couldn't stand any other shoes, so i danced barefoot...my legs ache all the way up to my hips.
i'm soooo tired, i miscalculated my finances and nearly got into a very bad situation what with giving you-know-who gas money for driving me back (while he haphazardly tried to arrange a business meeting here in mad-town, too) and trying to eat out so neither of us had to cook.
i'm wiped out and glad it's over, happy for the lil'brother but wiped out.
next weekend, Geek-Kon! :)
