Isn't school vacation great?!?

So I switched rooms with Matt. Yes it was all his idea to give me the big room because he doesn't want a big room anymore I guess. Anyways, I am not complaining even though I will probably only enjoy the luxury of a big room for one more year or so if I end up going to school in Mass. Oh well. I finally can say I have moved everything into the new room. That was about a week-long project. Started last Friday. Yeah that took a little longer than I was hoping.

As far as vacation is going, I would say it's going way too fast as usual and I haven't had a chance to really enjoy it since I have had to work every single day except Monday when I was doing a lot of fixup things to my room. I had to install a new outlet which took forever because it was behind the radiator and I only had about 2 inches of space to work with. I had to do some drilling to install a real door knob in my door with a locking mechanism since the old door knob was a piece of junk. The door would open from I am guessing air pressure within the house whenever someone shut the outside door down in the kitchen. WTF? Plus the stupid cat would press against the door and open it. Just say no to hairballs!

Work is a joke. Steve is a loser who never works but only likes to talk on the phone for half of his shift. He's even worse once the boss has gone home. And for some stupid reason I keep getting stuck with him being the "late helper" person when I close the department at night. Tonight he was original, instead of talking on the phone all night he had his wife and kids come in so that he could talk to them right there in the store for a half hour while I worked away. When Doreen and I work at nights together we can chat up a storm half the night and still get all the work done because she will actually work. When it's Steve and I, I have to do the work of both of us. The guy is seriously a lazy dumbass. Oh well, in a way I don't mind that much since it makes the night fly by fast running the whole show myself.

Another funny thing about work this week. I switched shifts with Andrew. I worked his 5am shift and I had to the load Tuesday morning. In return he was going to work for me yesterday (Thursday). HaHAHAHAHA! I was busy all day and then suddenly get a phone call. "Umm Ben you were supposed to work today." "Umm no I switched with Andrew" So they call Andrew and he tells them he just got his wisdom teeth taken out and he told Bob he wouldnt be able to work his shifts the rest of the week. Well it was nice of him to get some coverage. So I went in on my day off. Which I don't really know why I complain about that when they end up paying me extra in gift certificates for going "above and beyond". I am just happy I got some extra hours and then they come up to me with a gift card, go buy yourself something pretty.

I went to the gym (Planet Fitness) for the first time in about a month. I don't know why I do that to myself. I am going to be so sore and tired tomorrow. I need to go more often, I lost about 30lbs on my bench press and 10 on my curls. I suck. That place was pretty friggen packed today too. I don't like it, when I first started going there you could go at certain times of the day and have it relatively empty, and now it's like all day utter insanity. I almost didn't get an eliptical and then there are soccer moms bringing their kids in because it's school vacation or whatever and they are taking up all the good machines. Blah.

Started watching Babylon 5 with the first few episodes of the first season and then realized there was some pilot episode we were supposed to watch first. Why would you release the first season of a show without the pilot episode? My God.

Now it's Movie Sign! And Champagne! Okay, I guess it's only really sparkling wine, but Champagne sounds cooler doesn't it?
