Yes, or at least, many are reminded how very far away they are, even if they don't miss them outright. I'm sure for some of them, it's very hard to think about that.

Eh, I'm sort of used to it by now. I've been away for Mother's Day three years in a row and we never made a big deal out of it before that.

Being here is different than being on Academy Island, though.
