...Nothing changes. What happened was what happened, good or bad. Yubel did what Yubel did, then and now.
(OOC: This is part of past!AU!Judai's history with Yubel--sort of the same but not. Past!Judai was a prince and Yubel was his friend, much like in canon, but instead of the whole Haou thing it was said that he and another from another land would one day join together, become one, and defend the universe from the destructive light as one unified person, both people and yet another altogether.
Yubel, obviously, didn't like this (it sounded like losing Judai himself, after all) and tried to help past!Judai do it himself. Before either ever met past!Johan, past!Yubel underwent the same operation in hopes of making him unnecessary. Past!Judai had the same reaction as in canon, but in the end it didn't work; past!Judai and past!Johan still met, merged, and still they failed to completely stave off the light before dying. Cue reincarnation.
So Judai's Yubel really does have a valid reason for being jealous of/hating his Johan. Whoahaha?
Anyway, THE POINT. Judai's dream was basically part of that past--specifically, a first meeting with Johan where Yubel was going a little crazy out of anger and yelling at him.)
