I shouldn't have signed up to work at Atlas tonight, but I did. I'm glad. It's the easiest, cutest, most fun show I've worked in awhile. And Adam just bought a bunch of new equipment and is "storing" it here, so we have a great PA set up.
PWRFL Power is one of the greatest indie kids I've seen. He's from Japan and he sings humor songs about his life, like "I'll Teach You How to Use Chopsticks", "If I Smoke Too Much Pot", "I Hate You, Cat", and "My Bird Died". Seriously. Fucking. Rad. He's playing right now though and he turned his amp up too loud.
I think my neck piercing is getting infected. It hurts and is swollen and hot. Damn.
Also, half of my scholarships have been submitted. Only three more!
I have been eating gigantic veggie sandwiches and making my own espresso and walking to school every day... I feel great and am sticking to my quarter budget. Yay!
The only person that I wanted to pick up on my cryptic entry called me Sunday night. We talked and I told her something I should have told her years ago. I should probably tell some other folks from the group, but I'm not sure I will... it's kind of funny (in a twisted way) that I have no problem telling rooms of complete strangers but I'm so scared to tell the people I usually gush to. Who knows? Maybe I'll feel more in control the next time it comes up.
