Now answer the questions according to the numbers:

// What was the first song you ever heard by 6?
I'm not really sure... probably "judy and the dream of horses" or "if you're feeling sinister"....

// What is your favourite album of 2?
Once again, I have no idea, since
dick_and_jane just gave me these songs last week - apparently we/she played them so much as to skew my audioscrobbler, which is impressive.  the only album I have is "Comfort of Strangers."

// What is your favourite lyric that 5 has sung?

God bless the daylight, the sugary smell of springtime
remembering when you were mine in a still suburban town
When every Thursday, I'd brave those mountain passes
and you'd skip your early classes and we'd learn how our bodies worked

it's hard - I like their "sound" better than their lyrics - I would have rather done postal service or anniversary for this one... // How many times have you seen 4 live?
Once.  And it was amazing.  their last show in Boston, supposedly.

// What is your favourite song by 7?
I cannot decide.  Ingenue is such an album experience for me.  Maybe "Save Me"?

// What is a good memory you have considering the music of 10?
I'm shocked that counting crows is 10, actually, because I didn't think I listened to it all that much.  I think that actually listenining to Mr Jones in Christina Hilton's basement when I was about 10 and suddenly deciding that I liked the counting crows after all is a big one.  Also listening to Gina sing Murder of One for the Shoes, and also Long December was listened to during many sad times and made them better.

// Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
I don't think so actually, while being horribly morbid and sarcastic, the tone is always light with The Smiths

// What is your favourite lyric that 2 has sung?
No idea.  I'm still not sure I'd recognize a beth orton song if you played one.

// What is your favourite song by 9?
We have a map of the piano

// How did you get in to 3?
I think it was
dick_and_jane but I'm not sure

// What was the first song you heard by 1?
Impossible to say.  Probably Material Girl or something.  My best memories are probably of Lucky Star.

// What is your favourite song by 4?
Bigmouth Strikes again or Some Girls Are Bigger than Others

// How many time have you seen 9 live?
Once.  Bowery Ballroom in NYC, I had barely heard them before, but the show converted me.

// What is a good memory you have concerning 2?
too many questions about beth orton

// Is there a song of 8 that makes you sad?
mmm.... not really.  "Sometimes" is so bad that it makes me want to cry sometimes - but I like it anyways :)

// What is your favourite album of 5?
I think "The Photo Album" but it's very difficult, and I haven't listened to the new one enough yet to be sure.

// What is your favourite lyric that 3 has sung?
"Girlfriend in a coma, I know, I know it's serious"  ha!

// What is your favourite song of 1?
oh!  today I think it's between Lucky Star and Papa Don't Preach... but there are so many.  Like a Prayer is fantastic, and so is Human Nature and What it Feels Like for a Girl

// What is your favourite song of 10?
I think "A Long December"

// How many times have you seen 8 live?
Never.  It may never happen now...

// What is your favourite album of 1?
Immaculate Collection.  Second is probably Ray of Light (I know, I know...)

// What is a great memory you have considering 9?
Definitely going to the show.  Seeing all those amazing instruments and people was was just mind blowing.

// What was the first song you heard by 8?
Hit Me Baby One More Time
I don't really feel like my musical tastes have been appropriately represented by this, but I suppose meme things are supposed to tell you something about yourself, so maybe I've learned something about me "real" musical tastes?  Where's the JT and the REM?  The Postal Service?  The Zap Mama, the Paul Simon, the MJ?  The Sleater-Kinney, the eric lindley, the David Bowie, the Le Tigre? oh my.
