Well at least they said "good luck". I KNEW they had found another candidate. Otherwise it wouldn't have taken 2 days to figure it out. So yay. I knew I should have suspected something when they emailed me about the interview in the first place.
So then earlier today, I was at Washington picking up my stuff from Ginger, and she was really pissed off at GBAPS, because apparently the person they offered the job to at East turned it down... and she's like why are they calling all these people who are out of state when they have two qualified candidates right here in the area (me and another guy, who is also an EXCELLENT teacher). Turns out now there is a middle school job open. So I probably will be shafted in the interview, I dare to bet anyone who reads this GB probably wants to keep me on as a sub... because music subs are a commodity. If that's the case, I am 100% hellbent on getting out of the area and starting anew.
