For my personal interest, comment if you want.
I was at the concord ensembles website, I don't remember what brought me there.... oh yeah I was on facebook, under the tudor voices group and I ended up there. I noticed that a lot of them went to indiana university for grad school, and that prompted me to think about my masters. I know I"m not going to pursue it for at least two more years, I want some teaching under my belt and I need to figure out what I'm going to get it in. Here are my choices so far:
SCHOOLS:
University of Wisconsin
University of Illinois
Indiana University
Northern Illinois (Jessica, how is the music theory program you are working on?)
DEGREES:
Choral Conducting
Music Theory
Music History
I'm not going to get it in Music Education, just because I am not a fan of philosophy, and that's all music education is.
If anyone else out there has any suggestions, on additional universities or when I should go, because I'd LIKE to be there at the same time as a couple people I know, comment. I know, this is all just future pondering, but tonight just got me thinking.
