Yes, but they might not be aware of it. The first task will reward them with the knowledge of their new powers and their new weapons.

Also, Yellow's got some telekinetic powers already, so would it be possible for her to get a small idea about it before the first reward?

The heroes don't have any of their regular powers/weapons come the arc, but if she's used to feeling that kind of stuff out about herself, she'd probably notice a difference.
