Greetings from the cold south
Good day everyone. o7 Yuuring here (alsharatain). Undoubtedly, I'm a new member just accepted into Splendor. Nice you meet you all and looking forward to interact with everyone.
First and foremost, I'm extremely new to LJ comm rping. Well... there are few exceptions back in the day, but let's just say, I've never played in a very big RPing community, not to mention a multi-fandom + OC-mixed one. I guess in the past I've been in self-conflict to try it at all or not, due to the overwhelming terms, conditions, and.... the uses of tags. All in all I'm a complete newbie in this. So, I politely ask for everyone's patience in dealing with me. -v-;
Rest assured I'm quite confident as a veteran RPer, however. If anything I've been RPing for more than half my own life now. I'd like say I'm flexible with ideas and whatnot. :> Due to limiting myself to a smaller community of rpers though up to now, I unfortunately never had the experience to interact with many different kinds of people. So, that's what I've chosen to do now and hoping it's something great to look forward to!
Now er, a question before closing. Since I'm not too sure where I could go with it. I've been hesitating to make my first communication post. I was wondering if we have to wait until we're assigned the houses before posting? Since I realized the characters would have the Seal and the key of their assigned shelter in possession upon their arrival in Splendor... it would be odd if my character would have no idea what address is etched on his key, let alone what kind of key. Do we receive notification/replies when we have been allocated for certain?
