In GB Arietta found out about Sync's identity in the weirdest way. Van basically told her that he created Sync so he could open Sephiroths instead of risking Ion's health, but Sync wasn't even good enough for that. THIS ACTUALLY LED TO ARIETTA FEELING A TINY BIT BAD FOR SYNC and they had this weird sort of tsun tsun allyness/friendship??? going on

THEY ALSO HAD A TALK WHERE SYNC WAS LIKE WITHOUT THE SCORE I HAVE NO PURPOSE BLA BLA TRASH and Arietta was like SYNC IS STRONG. SYNC CAN FIND A PURPOSE /COMPLETE HYPOCRITE and since she knew him as Sync first and not a replica, she came to accept that Sync wasn't a replacement but himself, and started insisting "Sync is Sync" whenever he went on about TRASH REPLICAS.
