[she says, notably disbelieving. but then-- if she could get here thanks to the Book of Eibon, Maka figures he could, too. that doesn't mean it isn't unexpected though.]

It's-- kind of weird to explain. Did Crona tell you anything?

Crona claimed to be living in a mushroom, so I'm not entirely sure what to believe at the moment.

Well, it's kind of... mushroom shaped.

But, ah-- hey, more importantly-- are you okay? It's been ages, and we were all really worried about you back home!

It's... nevermind. Maybe we should get explaining this place out of the way first. That said-- yeah, no one here knows how or why we're suddenly appearing here, but we can presume some sort of music box was involved. You remember something like that, right?

Yes, a music box in Father's library. [ a pause ] I can't recall the song but it was pleasant.
