[ aww yeah man let do this

Okay, yeah, evil lair... Looks like something out of a video game. Are our princesses seriously in here? SIGH. She folds her arms. ]

You know, he's an idiot, but I don't think Ryohei's the type who'd hurt a fly unless it punched him in the face.

[ Ryouko glances back at the team. ]

What's the plan?

[There are no traps, there are no deterrents. The castle where Seifer, Izaya and their captives have been waiting all this time is dark and almost forlorn. Castles never really did suit him; too dramatic in this modern age. Seifer knows how to play the part though, he's read enough stories on this sort of thing. So he waits in the throne room well aware the heroes must be drawing close soon if that last message from the locals means anything at all.

He does not sit on the throne, but rather stands next to it. Back straight, head raised in pride, not the lord of this castle, but a knight who will serve to the last breath. He won't surrender. He refuses. If the heroes want peace there's only one path:

Complete capitulation to him.]

[ likewise, Izaya has no intent to hand the captives over on a silver platter but if they go, it's none of his concern. as usual, the only thing he was in for was himself and what he could gain.

he sat on the throne in place of Seifer, and rather comfortably so, legs thrown over one of the arms. it was obvious that he wasn't taking this very seriously or at least that that was the impression he hoped to give. there was nothing left to do now except wait. ]

Group 12 Finale burnerv2 November 22 2010, 23:33:12 UTC
[Decus had been going through everything as of late. At times he could only focus on his task at hand. Kefka was the enemy surprisingly, and if there was a way to solve this peacefully he most certainly would. But he had the drive of a hero for some reason... and he had to save those girls.

The location was set; everything was in place. This was the finale.]

Here's hoping everything will be peaceful.

[[ooc: Just in case anyone would rather skip to a THE actual finale, I'm gonna post there as well just to have any type of closure. This is just for backthreading I s'pose~.]]

[Armed to the teeth with daggers, axes, and whatever else he could get his hands on, Kefka waited for the heroes to arrive with a look of pure excitement. He's been wanting to CARVE someone up all day, and be damned if this axe-wielding lunatic wasn't going to see some blood.]

Oh, come on~! How long does it take the hero to GET here? [Kefka whined as he eyeballed his nifty gold pocket watch.] I WANNA KILL SOMEONE!

This sucks!

[Decus finally arrived at the (castle?) final destination. He knew Kefka was the villain but still ... it was a shock to see him.]

Never thought we'd meet up like this Kefka...

[As soon as the mage saw Decus, he started flailing. This idiot was supposed to be on his side, not the other way around! Literally fuming about this outcome, Kefka yelled at the top of his lungs.]

BETRAYER! LIAR!

This is an act of treason, you numb-skull! I'm going to rip your head off for this, Decus!

[Being separated from the group isn't something that's likely to worry Lexaeus. Yes, it would be better if he had back up, but rarely do people get what they wish for. So it's just him alone, crouching down behind a few boulders and peering at the large house.

This is the place. There is no doubt about it.

Lexaeus takes a deep breath. The words from earlier still echo in his mind and he recalls the masquerade. The power displayed, the nervousness the Dusk had told him of. He doesn't want to make this a bloodfest, but... His grip tightens around the shotgun he holds in his hand. Well, rarely do people get what they wish for.

After making sure he's not being watched, the tall man keeps as low as he can while he makes his way to what looks like a decently blinded part of the building. He's no expert at stealth, but hopefully this will be enough... He presses against a wall and edges towards a window, waiting to see if he hears anything.]

Ugh... I hope I never see sand that isn't on a beach again.

[It's a loud complaint from the younger of the two "villains." He's currently slumped over the bar of the saloon, looking absolutely miserable. He hates the desert so, so much. He'd rather be stuck in that weird city than here in this place. He's fanning himself with his hat, by the way.]

"Same here! Oh look, there's someone new here. Maybe he knows how to get home."

*Why hello thar. There seems to be an octopus, and if one didn't know her better, could be mistaken as one of the "villains". But, she waves a tentacle happily at the hero.*

"Hello! I think we're lost or something. Either way, how'd you get here? Can you get us home now?"

[It was now or never. The heroes were closing in, and Akane still had her damsels held captive. It was obvious that she wasn't going to win this war and that she would most likely end up dead. Though it was too late to rectify any of her mistakes. What's done is done, and there was no turning back.

All Akane could do was anxiously wait and watch the stars for the last time before those people came barging in. But one thing's for sure around here... Akane really didn't want to go through this now. Or ever. Or for the rest of her life.]
