I'm beginning to wonder if they can see us at all. It feels as though they barrel on past us like we literally aren't even there, as opposed to simply ignoring us.

I wonder what reason they have for treating us this way? For all their hostility towards us, it still seems unlikely that such a large number of people would be this unreasonable just because we are intruding on their home.

I wonder that sometimes, too. I'm sure they have some reason, but there isn't very much we can do to fix things if we don't know what it is.

There must be some way to contact them that doesn't involve a physical encounter. If they can't speak to us, maybe they'll write to us?

I certainly think it's worth it to try. They speak to us that way, through the notices. I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way as well.
