Now that our lovely ball is over, I believe I should formally introduce myself.
I am Yukari Yakumo, youkai of borders. For those of you not from some variant of Japan, youkai is a term used to refer to most supernatural beings. For example, the oni, which I told some of you about, is a type of youkai. I also mentioned they were creatures in our mythology. This is true. But I had forgotten to mention that, in my world at least, they and so many other youkai are very much real. Silly me!
And yes, this means I'm not human, despite my appearance. I hope that doesn't bother any of you.
Now, first I would to thank all of you who helped me, whether it was when I first arrived at Splendor or at the ball itself. You all have my gratitude.
And the second is more of an icebreaker: Who here knows something about magic?
