[ guess who happened to spot you on your journey to snowtown, mr. red? why, lyra, of course! she'd been following silently for a bit, a little too intimidated to stop the former champ, but to her advantage he's stopped on his own!

it's then that lyra quite literally bolts to his location, stopping only to take a breath before greeting him with the brightest smile. ]

R-.. Red! I didn't expect to see you here!!

I guess you found the music box, too, huh? Kida says that might be what brought us all here, and I found it while I was comin' down from Mt. Silver, so-

[ and lyra trails off, seemingly willing to yap forever- that is, until chikorita nudges her leg a bit. she offers the 'mon a quick pat on the head before composing herself. ]

[ hey she just wants you to be informed ok. RED WAS THE LAST PERSON SHE SAW BEFORE SPLENDOR OCCURED, so him showing up here kind of makes her realize the gravity of the situation. regardless, she inspects the key. ]

Ah- it's wooden! So you live here, then, in the Alpine district! I guess that '4' means you're s'posed to live in the fourth cabin.

... O- oh, I guess you never met him. He hasn't beaten the Elite Four yet, so I guess that makes sense! He's my friend. ♪

[ it's right about then that she shivers involuntarily. lyra had been so busy running her mouth that she's just now realizing that she's wearing shorts in the snow. ]

[ red sighs at her current state; it's okay for him to be out in the cold like this since he's used to it, but people who weren't really shouldn't be out here. he gets up from his spot, before shrugging off his jacket and tossing it on her. it's not really much, and it won't fix her problem with the shorts, but at least it's an extra layer. ]

... I should find the cabin, then. [ And he looks at her, like, maybe she should come with so she can warm up or something before she gets frostbite. ]
