[Whoa where is that voice coming from? With sharp eyes like Hawkeye's, it only takes her a moment to look the girl over and find herself very concerned.]

He is a dog...Hayate. [there is a particular tone to her voice that causes him to act quickly, dropping his silly dog behavior and sliding into something a little more polished. He immediately sits at her side, still.] He won't hurt you.
