[gilbert didn't pry, even if he also got the feeling that Rory was hiding more than he'd care to admit. But gilbert could understand that feeling well enough, and quickly finished scooping most of the cookies into the bags.] Oh, let me get one.

[He returned with a few more, and the mess seemed to shrink little by little, now that Rory was here to help.]
