First Stolen Jewel ~ Voice/Action

[After a minute or two of silence, anyone who's listening will hear Flynn start to speak. There's a hint of garrulousness in his voice, but most of that is covered over by surprise.]

Uh, hello? Is... is anyone there?

[He takes a long look around him, hoping that someone, anyone, will make an appearance and explain to him exactly what's going on

[There's a pause, as Rapunzel hears that familiar voice. Was it really--she hadn't seen him in months, of course, but...]

.....Eugene? You're here?

[Whoa. Now there's a voice he never expected to hear.]

Rapunzel?

[He sounds appropriately incredulous.]

[She sounds so excited and relieved. She's been wondering if or when he might show up ever since she arrived.]

Where are you? By the entrance still? I'll come get you!

[He has to ask.]

Where is here? And uh, I think so. It looks like a giant hall.

Oh-this is a big city called Splendor! It brings in all sorts of people from different times and worlds, and it can grant wishes!

All right... I'm guessing we're not anywhere near home. Or your tower. Or anything.

[He crosses his arms and leans against the wall.]

Well....no, not really. But, it's not so bad? I've made lots of friends here, and the wishes--I want to wish to see the floating lights soon!

[Talking, possibly a little fast in her excitement as she rushes outside and on her way to the Entrance. It doesn't take her long and she's there, pausing and looking around, before seeing the familiar figure and rushing towards it. It's only upon actually seeing him that she realizes quite how much she had missed him.]

The floating lights? But you've... I mean, we've already seen them!

[He's just going to stare at her, surprised and wondering how she could have forgotten that.

But then she appears, in person and just the way he remembers her.]

Well, hello, Rapunzel. You're looking just stunning.

[Have a charming smile. He's actually quite happy to see her.]

What.....? No. We had spent the day in Corona, but I hadn't seen them when I arrived here, at least. It....this place can and does take people from different times, so maybe you remember more than me, but.....I'm sure I wouldn't have forgotten....

[Bites her lip, frowning in confusion before managing a smile at that.]

Thanks? I've learnt how to braid my hair myself now!

[Though at the moment it is still undone, as long and blonde as ever, trailing along the ground behind her.]

Well, the last thing I remember is definitely not the lanterns, but... It's kind of complicated.

But, if you really haven't seen them yet, then we'll just have to fix that. I mean, seeing the lanterns is your dream!

[He smiles charmingly.]

Here's my question, though. How long have you been here? I could be imagining things, but it sounds like you didn't arrive here yesterday.

Oh....? Well, how about you tell me once we find where you live? You should have a key on you, that'll tell us where. I'm in Carter Estate myself. Of course I want to see the lanterns! I was just, sort of practicing with the wishes, is all.

[In all honesty, he doesn't want to tell her, but it's also something she needs to know. So yes, he will be telling her once they figure things out.

He looks everywhere for the key, but can't find it.]

I don't think I have one, Rapunzel. But I'm not worried at all.

I'm Flynn Rider, after all. And six months? That's quite a long time to be by yourself.

It is! I know, right? But, I mean, it hasn't been so bad. There are some who seem....well, kind of scary but nothing too bad has happened besides those 'Heartless' and Sora being kidnapped. But we managed. There's so many people for you to meet!

Okay, that works! I mean, this hall is great, but I've seen just about enough of it already.

Well, now that I'm here, everything's going to be just great.

[Except for the fact that he's pretty sure he's dead and everything. He's still waiting for the right time to tell her that detail.]

I'm sure it will. I mean, greater. [If that's...even a word. Yeah. But she'll lead him to Carter, finding it odd that here, she is the one acting as a guide. At least at first until Eugene finds his way around. But pausing as she looks to him and notices the blood for the first time.]

No, but you know me, I hate being in one place for too long.

[He follows her, doing what he can to get his bearings. If he's going to be here for awhile, then he needs to know how to get around on his own.

He's about to make some charming comment, just as a conversation piece, when he notices Rapunzel's expression change. Oh. She's just seen the blood on his clothes.]
