Well, the law enforcement branch is looking for people. If you're good at organizing and keeping stuff, we could use a secretary possibly.

[ Although it doesn't show on Teagan's face, the mention of law enforcement sends a chill up her spine. It feels hypocritical to agree to something like this - then again, she isn't sure if "secretary" would work anyway. Still, she smiles, looking a little apologetic. ]

To be honest, I've never had much of a reason to be very organised about things, before, so I don't know if I'd make a good secretary. [ For a moment, she almost looks a bit embarrassed, but she doesn't expand. Handwriting and spelling have never been her forte. ] I'm sorry...

My own store? [ Gosh. What a novel and odd idea. ] I don't even know what I'd sell. Mind you, it could probably be anything and it still wouldn't seem half as unusual as this place is on the whole.

Well, music, I suppose, though I don't know much about it. [ She moves on, a little quickly, though her embarrassment at the fact that she can't even say what she likes isn't very noticeable. With innocent, reasonable curiosity, she continues: ] What's the law enforcement here like? I mean, if you guys come from different worlds and stuff, maybe, it must be a bit weird... different methods and things like that.

Well I guess it was at first. There were a lot more people involved until they all went back to where they came from.

For now it's just three of us.

Basically we all came from backgrounds where we kick butt at home, so we pretty much understand what it means to fight for someone. So I guess that helps us relate.
