[He'd managed to
post the notice.]
[It's a hot evening, and Asch is mentally cursing himself for wearing the cloak and hood. Not to mention the uniform and sword underneath. The ensemble is, in a word, stifling. Even so, Asch wants to remain anonymous for as long as possible

He had Elanore and Nirinel to thank for that. ]
[ Edel raised his hand then, a sign to show the hooded figure of their arrival. They did not come bearing weapons-- sort of. Edel always carried a knife with him, simply as a memento from his father and for his alchemical processes- and... well. Alexander himself could be considered a weapon, it seemed. ]
[ He called out to the man now as they came close, Edel turned back to Alexander to make sure he was fine- and still following, naturally, before raising his voice -] We have come by our own means and in order to regain peace here. We do not wish to fight anyone!
[ And finally, he turned to glance at Alexander. He meant it, Edel's eyes would tell Alexander. We are here for peace. ]

[The attack brought along lots of questions - even a few answers. It's worth discussion and thinking over. And yet, he never expected these two to actually show up. They've got to know walking up to a group like this is risky.]
[He can't help but wonder whose idea this was.]
Peace, huh?
[Asch's head shifts from Edel, who'd spoken, to Alexander. He remains where he is, although there's a slight edge to his voice.] And just how do you plan to accomplish that?

That is what I have come to find out.

To wait around for others to decide on action was... dangerous, of course. Edel didn't know what to expect, what to do- but he would stand by Alexander. ]
I do not know myself how we'll come into accordance, but perhaps discussion the issues at hand and obtaining responsibility would be... the first step. So I'd assume.

[It seems obvious to Asch at least. His voice and his influence are just one of many here . He hadn't even involved himself directly. All he's trying to do is make sense of what happened, why, and the reaction. The issue of the natives was still nagging at him, too.]
But I can tell you this much: more damage has been done than just the spilling of blood. People are nervous and scared. Some are angry.
[He glances around.]
Talk if that's what you're here to do.

I will talk, then. To these victims. Are all gathered?

Contact the rest on your own time.
[After all, the purpose of this meeting isn't just to discuss what happened, but rather, Asch is using it as a springboard of sorts to prod people to action.]
[Asch gestures with one arm for him to go ahead and speak.]
