[Action]
[It was the fighting that had done it. For a few weeks, after that
strange dream, Luke had actually been able to remember what having a normal night's sleep was like. Tear had helped to heal him, but there was always a certain extent that the body had to heal itself after any kind of major injury. And he'd used a hyperresonance, even though he wasn't supposed to. He had a feeling Jade had been right about not using it too. It'd tired him out so much - even the small one in Radiant Howl. Overall, it meant that the first night after the fighting, his sleep had been dreamless.
But now, the nightmares that had plagued him for so long were back.
Even though he probably should be sleeping still, or at least resting, Luke is out in one of the common areas of Gilded, staring out a window, curled up, clutching his knees to his chest and resting his chin on them. It had been so long since his last nightmare, he'd almost felt dulled to what they had been like. The horror and pain and desperation he'd begun to forget was suddenly fresh in his mind and memory, so that he could hardly believe he had been able to sleep peacefully for as long as he had.]
[Voice]
[Eventually, anyone up late enough will hear a quiet query across the seals]
H-hey. Does anybody know what to do if you're having trouble sleeping?
