[From the moment she appears at the entranceway, Bumblebee looks alert. She's clad in a yellow shirt, a black, bulky hoodie to cover her wings, and a pair of black pants that look like leggings but are in reality the bottom half of her superhero outfit. [ Teagan was brought up on fairly traditional manners, e.g. staring is rude, but she really, really can't help it in this instance. She's so transfixed by the wings for a moment that she forgets to bother speaking, just gawking, open mouthed, her head tilted slightly and brow creased with wonder. ]

[She notices the stare after a few moments, and while she's tried to be nicer when dealing with apparent civilians, the fact that she's been transported to some strange place against her will and can't get a hold of her team makes her rather snippy.]

Take a picture. It'll last longer.

[It could've been worse. At least the returning glance she's giving is a rather mild glare.]

Oh, god! [ Teagan snaps out of her trance, smacking a hand to her mouth for a moment. ]

I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to stare! I've just- I've never seen anyone with- well. [ She waves a slightly hopeless hand in a flyaway gesture that means absolutely nothing. ] Wings.

[She huffs a bit of sigh, trying to calm herself before managing a small and hopefully reassuring smile.]

No, no it's okay. I'm sorry, I shouldn't've lost my temper. I'm just a bit tense right now.

Well, it was pretty rude of me either way... [ She smiles back, relieved that she hasn't caused any lasting offence. ] Still, I can't blame you for being tense- [ she raises her brows slightly as she talks, questioningly, curiously ] -I'm guessing you've only just arrived here, right?

It's perfectly understandable. Not everyday you see someone with wings, I bet.

[She nods.] You guess correctly. Though I'm not entirely certain I know where "here" is.

Definitely not where I'm from. [ She smiles lightly. ] As far as I can tell, this place is called Splendor, and- er, that's about it. I'm relatively new here too.

[notabeeotch]

Not many from where I'm from either, honestly.

Yeah? And how exactly do we get out of here, d'you know?

[eventhegood]

No, I'm afraid not. [ She's quite, just for a moment, thinking. ] Mind you, I haven't tried asking around much, yet. There's bound to be others here who can answer your questions better, people who've been here longer, or something like that.

[notabeeotch]

[She nods a little.] I guess it couldn't hurt to ask around. Any idea why we're here, though?

[ WHOOPS SPELLING *quiet ]

Again, I have nothing. There aren't any obvious indications of an explanation.

[A huffy sigh.] Then let's hope it's for something good and not one of my villains trying to get back at me or my teammates.

Villains?

[ Her eyebrows pop up a little.

Well, that's new. Sounds very comicbook to Teagan. Certainly there are the good and the bad people, where she comes from, but "villain" isn't exactly a word she would apply to any of them. ]

[A nod.] Yeah, villains. I'm Bumblebee, leader of Teen Titans East. We fight crime over in Steel City. Heard of it?

[It's unlikely she does, but she figures she might as well give it a shot asking anyways.]

[ There's a bit of a pause in which Teagan simply stares at the other girl, before slowly shaking her head, slightly awed again. ]

Can't say that I have. [ Ever. At all. Of anything that even remotely sounds weird. There's a small note of almost childish delight in her voice, just a hint of it. ] Are you... superheroes? Or something like that?

[A grin.] Yeah, we're superheroes. Some of the best, in my opinion.
