[Having her own worries to think about, Zelda isn't perceptive enough to catch on to Roxas' gloominess quite yet. In fact, her gaze seems to be more focused on the castle behind him for the time being, despite the fact that she is approaching to speak with him.]

[Okay, introduction all set! And with that taken care of... um. Now what? She hadn't planned out at all what she was going to say once the name exchange had taken place! Her eyes darted around the area as she tried to scrounge up a topic of conversation, her gaze eventually landing on the box of ice cream at his side.]

What is that you're eating? I've never seen anything like it before.

[He's a bit surprised. Somehow he had assumed that everyone knew about it. He frowns a little before answering]

This is ice cream. It's not the kind I usually eat, but... [He looks down at the box.] Uhh, I guess you can try some if you want.

[She was just thinking how it would be nice to have a snack, and this "ice cream" did look very intriguing, but... no. No! Manners must come first.]

Are you sure you don't mind? I would hate to intrude if you had intended to share them with your friends.

Eating this whole box on your own can't be good for you; you'll get all pudgy! I suppose in a case like this, it's only right that I help you out.

[That actually catches her off guard. If he hadn't intended to share them from the start, then wouldn't it make sense to only get one ice cream bar? Far be it from her to question his logic, but it does strike her as sort of odd. Maybe he's just lonely and a little weird.]

Yes, that's right. If you eat this much [gestures to the box] of anything just as a snack, you're bound to get a big belly from it.

Mm-hmm! All right, it's time to give this a try.

[She turns her attention back to the ice cream bar in her hand and sets about removing the paper wrapping. You... aren't supposed to eat that part, right? Right. Moving on. Slowly, tentatively, she takes her first bite- and nearly drops the bar in surprise! Yow, this stuff is cold!]

Whew! [she waves her hand in front of her mouth] Oh, this is quite frigid, isn't it! My teeth are tingling- is that supposed to happen?

[He almost wonders if he should help her, but then again how was he supposed to do that? Besides, he'd gone through similar circumstances 358 days ago and he couldn't remember much before that.]

Uhh, yeah, it's supposed to be cold. I think that's why they call ice cream.
