[Having located his apartment fairly easily, Yuri decided it was high time to explore the town. So far, it wasn't turning out to be the best experience. The way all these people were giving him that 'you're not worthy to lick the dirt off our shoes' look that was starting to annoy him.
Not to mention the way they leered at his sword. It was surprising none of them jumped him and tried to take it away yet. Well, whatever. He wasn't walking around without a weapon just so the level of hate would go up from 'Scum of the Earth' to 'Worthless Piece of Trash.' Not that he still didn't have his fists, but he wasn't in the mood to be particularly considerate.
Then he recalled that Seal thing he'd gotten. Yuri took it out and observed it for a moment before shrugging. Might as well use it. Plus, maybe someone from back home was here and this was the fastest way to find them.]
So, anyone else think that these locals are in some serious need of proper manners? All these silent treatments and death glares start to get pretty boring after the first dozen or so. [He snorted softly.] Haven't even done anything yet and I'm already being treated like a criminal. Man, this place is just so welcoming.
