[there's a wave from off-screen and the sounds of things - bottles? jars? - moving around.]

Sure thing! You want anything special to eat?

O-oh. Food. Well...whatever you are making is fine? [She isn't too picky. Mostly, she would appreciate the company right now.]

[that makes two of them.] Well, come on up and I'll see what I've got that interests you! Do you want me to come get you? It is really dark out...

Oh, I have candles...It's not too far, is it? I'm at Carter, so I don't want to trouble you....

Carter, huh? That's not far at all! I'll be there in about ten minutes, is that okay?

[sure enough, ten minutes later and he's knocking loudly on the Estate's front door.]

[And Rapunzel hears, making her way to the door with her candle and frying pan, opening the door cautiously, relaxing when she recognizes Raki.]

[he raises an eyebrow at the cookware but grins easily enough, greeting her with a cheery wave.] Heya! Ready to go?

Y-yes! I am. Sorry to make you come out like this.... [A nod, lowering the frying pan a bit, tucking some hair behind her ear a little.]

No problem! I'd feel bad making you walk there by yourself in all of this. [there are Bad People lurking about the city, after all, which is why his sword is strapped to his back.] C'mon, I've got the fire stoked up and all sorts of stuff cooking! We can be fat and lazy until it stops being night.

Well, I...I appreciate it. [ A nod, as she moves to step outside and follow him, since he knows the way.] I wonder how long this will last. I've never seen an eclipse before, only read about them mentioned in books. I'm sure they don't usually last this long.....?

I've never seen one either, but I think you're right. It's definitely really creepy. [and considering the last thing Raki remembers was being eaten, it's more than a little disconcerting.] Still, this place doesn't like to do things normally, huh?

No. It's.....definitely different. [Rapunzel nods in agreement, unable to deny Splendor was certainly not the same as the likes of Corona back home.]
