[Dark. Why is it dark? The sun should've been up by now, right? At least it should be, it's almost the afternoon time since he overslept.

I thought it was an eclipse, but I don't believe that that's right anymore.

It's when an astronomical body passes in front of another, causing a shadow. Though they are usually brief, as the bodies are constantly in motion.

I'm not sure...I just woke up and everything was still dark. It reminds me so much of home...

And they're talking about how it's not supposed to happen. But they've also said that worse things have happened, so...maybe it isn't so bad?

...maybe someone just wished that it would get dark.

I'm not sure...to be honest, I haven't been here that long myself but I've never seen anything like this happen before or anything worse. But I'm used to the dark so I guess you're right, it isn't too bad.

[What confuses him is why someone would do that] Who likes the darkness though...? It's so lonely and scary...
