( well, if there was one thing to thoroughly examining all of his new things is that he was rather easily able to get a lot of his information from what he caught listening in over the seal. enough for him to get answers for most of the questions he found racing through his mind when he first awoke but certainly not enough to put him at any sort of ease, though the only way for that to be possible was for a doorway right back home to appear.
unfortunately, if what he heard was correct, that seemed to be the one thing that was not possible.
so he settles for exploring the area around the welcoming area. that is until he takes note of the key around his neck once again and squints, reading the writing-which he was sure had not been there before-etched into it aloud: )
