Introduction - One door closes, another door opens - [Action]/[Voice]
[Chihiro wakes up with the gentle strains of the Music Box still echoing in her ear. She is so drowsy that it takes her several seconds to realize that she is no longer in the wide, green fields stretching between the Bath House and the tunnel leading back home. Between Yubaba and her parents. No, instead, she is sprawled in front of a great, golden gate in an unfamiliar building surrounded by people who aren't the bath house residents, but neither are they the people who would live in her home town. This wasn't anywhere she knew. This wasn't anywhere she shoudl be.
It seems that she's been drawn even further into the in between than she'd ever feared.
Chihiro is alone. Chihiro is lost and alone. And tears prick at the corners of her eyes when she realizes this - bitterly disappointed and afraid, Chihiro can't stop them from streaming down her cheeks, even as she fights so hard to swallow back sobs that she gives herself the hiccups.
She'll spend the next several minutes calling for her parents, occasionally tugging on the sleeves of random passers-by with the hurried question:]
Excuse me! Can you please tell me where I am?
[Eventually, however, she'll flop down for a rest on a bench outside Splendor City Hall. Then, and only then, will she notice the key dangling around her neck and feel the weight of the seal in her pocket. She pulls the seal out to examine it - an etched design of Mouse, Crow, and No Face wave cheerfully back at her, an image that does bring a smile to the girl's lips. Unbeknownst to her, the strength of her feelings connects to the Seal and echoes faintly out throughout Splendor.]
I miss you...I miss all of you...I just wanted to go home...
[Those not listening to the Seals might simply notice Chihiro replace the seal in her pocket with a tired sigh. The next thing to receive the girl's attention is the key, and the carvings on the fine, clover shaped gold.]
Three oh one...As-be...something street. I can't read it...
