[Luke's had enough time now being an adult (sort of) again that some of his initial mortification and discomfort has worn off. Or at least, it's worn off enough that the need to thank/apologize to everyone has overridden it. He's going to have to talk to everyone sometime. He can't run and hide from everyone forever

Seriously, you could barely talk or say anything. You must have been a pretty shy kid..but at least you remember everyone after it was over, right?

I made a pretty bad wish recently too..

Then what was it like?

Eheh..well, I wished for fried chicken, but instead, I ended up with a whole dozen of chickens that were on fire.

Well uh... back then... I really couldn't walk or talk that well...

Wh-what?! [Though after the thing with Kid's shirt-eating lamp he was beginning to wonder about Splendor and wishing...] That sounds really strange... what happened to the chickens...?

Well, I had Siegfried help me put them in pens, after I wished for some water, so things turned out okay.

Except I was really hungry..

Well... I... didn't really know how to. That's all.

[Hopefully Lloyd'll pick up the hint that that's as far as Luke wants to go for now.]

So they're still here? Like... in the city? Heh... did you go get something to eat after that, at least?

[he tilts his head]
Yeah, after a while we finally did. But not those chickens..besides we worked hard enough as it is to put them back in a pen.

I would guess not, heh.

[Luke chuckled nervously, before his thoughts turned in the direction of Lloyd's

... people keep saying that... that it was okay, that he wasn't a problem, that him not knowing those things was okay... It was understandable, he guessed, for people from his own world, who knew what he was. But everyone else... why? It just... didn't make sense to him.]

It's... it's nothing. It's just... [how to explain without sounding too weird] I just... I thought I caused so many problems, last week, but... nobody seems mad or anything, at all.

[He laughs a little sheepishly] I should be happy about it, but it feels weird. [It's so different from what he expected.]

Because people care about you, that's why, you obviously made some friends.

None of us thought it was a big deal. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself.

[That... makes Luke pause. He's always been so hard on himself, since Akzeriuth. It's practically habit now... He's not really sure what to say to that.]

I'm glad. [He sounds a little happy, but thoughtful too.]
