[Jast has an affinity with a great number of birds, owls included. Some days, he finds himself asleep as soon as the sun has fallen, awake again at the very cracking of dawn. Other times, however, there is work to be done in the evening, nocturnal creatures to tend to and so he goes out and roams. A night owl, sometimes.

Splendor City is often fairly peaceful in the evenings, so maybe he is just a little curious to see where the little figure goes. He has a great sense for the nature of things, sensitive to everyone and everything that lives and breathes in the city, but he has never encountered anyone from these other worlds before. He is not sure how to interpret things here.]

[ Kid stops after a while, letting the other catch up while balancing easily on the narrow peak of a rooftop. ]

[Preternaturally nimble, even if he takes the appearance of a normal boy. He pulls himself up onto the roof, sees he's been noticed and rather than show guilt, he simply approaches.]

It is good to be busy, at least. It seems as if it would be simple to be idle in the city.

It is. Even with everything I try to do, I always feel as though I accomplish very little. It can be frustrating.
