[The voice feed clicks on. In the background, if one were to listen closely, they could hear the splashing sound of a familiar water fountain in the Wonderland District. There's a few moments of silence before the person begins to speak.]Some people have been here for a really long time, huh? Months... even though months are so much shorter here

[And what does he find today, but--]
[...?]
[What is it with all these people with red hair? And they all look exactly the same! Actually this one looks closer to the guy with the sword and the dummies than the grumpy man. And he looks kind of confused.]
[Headtilt. Barkbark? Hey there, Mr. Kid Hair, are you okay?]

[Hello there, Mr. Kid Hair!]
[He's kind of upset that he scared the poor kid before, he didn't mean to, he's really not that scary. He'll be more gentle now.]
[So he pads forward really slowly, trying to look as non-threatening as possible, tongue hanging out in a canine grin. He doesn't bark this time, but his tail's wagging.]
[Hi! Are you okay?]

Still, that long bushy white thing is going back and forth and back and forth. Luke follows its progress with his eyes and even his head a little bit. Back and forth and back and forth... untill he starts to feel a little wobbly and looks down. Only to return his gaze a few moments later. What was it doing?]

[... Wait! It's his tail, isn't it? Wow, have you never seen a puppy before? You're kind of a strange kid. Well, see, this is what puppies do when they're happy!]
[Swish goes his tail, sketching a simple smiley face up in the air. See? He's happy! You should at least recognize a smile.]
[Feeling a little bolder, Chibi steps forward further, close enough that Luke could reach out and touch him if he wanted to. He's really soft. He's not gonna hurt you!]
[Pantpantpantpant. Wolfy smile.]

Luke laughs. What... the... the white bushy thing, it moved differently, and then a little smiley face appeared. Luke let go of the rim of the fountain to clap his hands together, bouncing up and down slightly - enough that he falls backwards onto his bottom with a bump. The current distraction is too entertaining though.
He looks down at the white animal and notices that it's much closer. He feels a bit more comfortable now though, and reaches out slowly to touch it's head. Upon patting Chibi's head, Luke pulls his hand back, staring at it, surprised - though not scared. It was soft! Giggling, he reaches out to pet Chibi again]

[Well, no surprise. No one expected a puppy that was able to draw. Maybe Chibi should do it again.]
[More smiley faces, this time more elaborate, and then a silly sort of sketch of the boy himself, sticking out his tongue goofily.]
[Hey, he's petting Chibi! Good! See? He's not gonna hurt you. Isn't he nice and soft and and wow you really do like him don't you?]
[Press forward and lick at the boy's cheek. Lickylicky! He's just being friendly.]

[He's just gonna rest his head here for the time being, right there on the boy's shoulder, kinda nuzzling him as the boy runs his hands over his back. Nice and calm. A big fluffy thing for Luke to hold onto! He'll keep you company.]
[But don't you have a place to be, Mr. Kid Hair? Don't you have a home? You're a visitor, aren't you? Are you with that other man with red hair?]
[Sketchy sketchy sketchy. A house[?]; other people[?]; Asch[?]. And please don't grab at his tail, he doesn't like when people touch it.]

Luke looks up at the pictures Chibi's drawing in fascination, but not really comprehending that Chibi is trying to ask him a question. So far as he knows, they're just pretty pictures being drawn for his amusement, like they were a moment ago.
Luke might make an attempt to grab at the tail eventually (thankfully still-developing hand-eye coordination means he won't actually catch it so long as it's moving, but still), but for now he's content sitting like this.]

[He stops sketching just for a second so he can let his tail wag like it wants to, before he goes back to sketching again.]
[The boy's not answering... Does he not understand? Well that could be problematic. Chibi can't speak, either.]
[It's funny, 'cause the kid looks like he should be old enough to speak, and maybe even read! So why hasn't he said anything yet?]
[Well, maybe he'll be able to show him something else. His key, maybe?]
[But... mm... not yet. This feels really good. Chibi's enjoying it almost as much as Luke is. He'll keep sketching idly, not really thinking about it; the way he's giggling has to mean he likes it, so Chibi knows he's doing a good job.]
[He kind of wishes there was another adult around... but Chibi will do his best to take care of you, little Luke.]

[You know what... he's got to start being a little pushy. This kid looks like he needs somewhere to go. Chibi can't take care of him forever. Even though he is kind of cute and really really really cuddly and Chibi doesn't mind that at all!]
[Gonna lick one more time at Luke, there, and then step back a little, pulling out his key out of nowhere. Do you have something like this, little Luke?]
