That is... definitely a lot. It would be best to try and find homes for them instead of just wishing them away, but that's my own personal opinion.

[Chrome is very grateful when she comes to the door. So grateful, in fact, that she just opens it up, not realizing that kittens are opportunistic beasts whose sole purpose in life is to wait for doors to be opened so that they may rush through them and escape into the world.

Thus, when she opens up, a small, light brown kitten with fur sticking every which way goes barreling out the door with a triumphant hiss.]

[Startled at first, he quickly recovered enough to try and corral the wayward kitten and step in before the others had a chance to try and act enmasse.] That one's rather opportunistic. You definitely have quite a lot on your hands.

[Chrome manages to grab the kitten and pull it back inside before it escapes. As she is closing the door, the kitten proceeds to have an absolute shitfit, howling and hissing and flipping around in a flurry of claws and fur. She drops him abruptly, though not before he does a number on her arms.

The kitten rushes off into some hidden corner of the apartment, probably to make a giant fucking mess.]

[That was one angry kitten. He couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor girl.]

Do you need help cleaning up? [He was referring to the scratches that she inevitably received and it was certainly the least that he could do.]

[She leads him into the living room where she has corralled most of the kittens. Feeling just a little bit awkward about having one of them flip the fuck out in front of him.]

[Bowing slightly. Years in Italy have not quite broken her of Japanese habits.]

[Thankfully he seemed to have taken everything in stride and wasn't turning to back away yet. Kittens were kittens after all and some... well, some were a bit more difficult than others.]

A pleasure to meet you, Chrome. I'm Matthew. [There had been a small hesitation as he almost introduced himself as Canada, but after interacting with a few others, he had decided that just using Matthew was easier because it drew less questions and disbelief.

There was also a moment of hesitation before he offered a bit of an awkward bow in return since he didn't really know the proper way to return the gesture.

But anyway, he happily started to look at the kittens.]
