[10 - Voice/Action]
[It's the slight, sudden shift between light and darkness that alerts Riku, the tipping of the grand scale within Splendor back to the light... someone has disappeared, a powerful darkness. A familiar one at that.
He doesn't trust it immediately, not with how he's been fooled just weeks ago... but when even searching every inch of the factory remains, along with the rest of Splendor fails to turn up the slightest trace of smell for him to trace, he starts to feel confident about his initial assessment. Finally he brings up the seal, sending a short message that hopefully would help Sora to start sleeping a little bit better again.]
Vanitas has ceased to be a threat. He disappeared from Splendor this morning.
[But even with Vanitas gone; Riku still can't forget the despair of that week, the helplessness he had felt when he had faced him in battle... the deep down knowledge that he wasn't strong enough to defeat him by himself.
The thought makes him angry though, as does the very idea of not being able to protect the people that he holds close to his heart. So he's started going out at night, once Sora was asleep, never far; just to the woods near Tenna Villa, walking himself through katas he half remembers learning on the islands and moves he's taught himself during his time in Hollow Bastion, pushing and pushing his magic to finally get the cure and reflect spells King Mickey had taught him right (or righter at least), even pulling on his own darkness since that is pretty much the only element he's halfway competent with.
With Vanitas gone he can dare to go a little further than the woods though, over into the Alpine District which is far more open than the woods and where the chances of him accidentally waking someone through his training quite a bit smaller.
