The last thing he needs is for others to get all up in his business and ask him stupid questions about touchy subject matter. What he needs are facts, figures, answers. Something concrete. Asch has been poking around, but he's less than happy with what little his efforts have yielded. For him, this form of cooperation is a last ditch effort, and he's taking it very, very seriously.
