In the months I’ve been in Splendor, I’ve been evaluating the behavior of this world. For instance, this place had a steady stream of new inhabitants once a month. There were exceptions, though that was when there was a spike in new voices over the Seals.

That order was disrupted. A month went by where there were no new arrivals.

[There’s the sound of a pen clicking, and pages turning. A diarynotebook, more than likely.]

Perhaps someone got close to the one bringing the ones into Splendor, and that was a cause for the absence. Or, said person may have simply lost interest in bringing them here. But if that's the case, then why start all over again? Are we truly here for someone's entertainment?

However, there is another theory. The world itself may very well have been unable to handle the amount of people. So in return, it sends some of them away in order to make room for more. [If someone were to be listening closely, he may sound a little tense there.

That’s just three of exactly 25 theories in his mind, though those three seem to be the most feasible. The last theory was the most farfetched of them all - he doesn’t believe Splendor to be working by itself; instead, he believes that there is someone behind all of this. He just…has yet to figure it out.]

There is one other phenomenon here as well. It is, in fact, possible for ones sent home to come back. In this case, my findings are that they don't remember Splendor. If that's correct, then what's the purpose of being here, if we're to forget everything that's happened in the first place?

[A pause.]

If there's any conflicting information, please alert me. I would rather gain a better understanding of Splendor than be led down a trail that leads nowhere.

[And the feed ends.]
